Through years of issues management and crisis response experience, Redbird has created a system for developing custom, Incident Management Guides (IMG) designed to provide immediate action items to company employees in the event of an emergency. The guide is organized by risk type including hazardous material spills, fires and explosions, employee injury, and natural disasters. Along with the handheld guide, the content is also developed as a convenient app, for download on iPhone and Android devices. Supporting materials also included in the IMG development process include federal, state and local regulatory agency contacts, emergency response and medical contacts, personnel reporting and action item information, reportable spill quantities, company spokesperson information, and how to communicate with outside parties including the media and general public, emergency responders and outside regulators.
